Philadelphia street artist Seek One has partnered with Zuma, a downtown Miami restaurant specializing in contemporary modern Japanese cuisine, to conceptualize a unique Art Basel experience this week.

Seek One is known for his one-of-a-kind artwork that fuses iconic figures in pop culture with vintage media and street style. His artwork has been featured in galleries from The Hamptons to Dubai and collected by celebrities such as Carmelo Anthony, Johnathan Cheban (FoodGod), Meghan Trainor and Tony Robbins to name a few. In addition to his gallery showings, he has moved into the world of NFTs and now live art performances as Zuma’s first ever Art Basel partnership.

For his Zuma activation Seek One will have a unique piece of art displayed at the front entrance of Zuma in Miami which will be for sale as an NFT version in addition to the physical. While this piece is displayed, he will be working on a 4x12ft abstract painting in the main lounge area that centers around his relationship with the restaurant. Guests can come up to Seek One and share conversation while he actively paints, creating a personable experience between the artist and guests.

Zuma holds a special place in the artist’s life as he has been a patron for many years, enjoying his favorite cuisine. Their high level of innovation motivates Seek One, and the restaurant has made the event even more memorable by adding unique details to its menu to make the event special.

Zuma will offer a custom art week cocktail menu and unique desserts to commemorate Seek One, including desserts with some of his art printed on sheets of chocolate. Seek One aims to create timeless pieces of fine art that everyone can connect to.

With his live art performance, it is beyond doubt that this will be his most personal and connected event yet. When asked about the prospect of the event’s success, Seek One says, “Connecting with collectors and art lovers on a more personal level and giving them a more in-depth look at my process and mindset [would make this event a success].’

Seek One will take over the space at Zuma Miami the first weekend of December, starting on December 1st and continuing throughout the weekend.

Moreover, you can check out Seek One on his Instagram or his website seekoneart.com to learn more about his work.
